Hockey India announces Rs. 11 lakh reward for men's team gold at Asian Games 2026

Hockey India has announced a cash reward of Rs. 11 lakh per player for the men's hockey team following their gold medal win at the Asian Games 2026. The federation initially declared a Rs. 10 lakh incentive for the women's team, later revising it upward to Rs. 11 lakh per player. This same revised amount has now been applied to the men's team after their gold medal finish.

The move reflects Hockey India's commitment to incentivizing medal-winning performances at major international tournaments.
