Skill development initiative launched in hospitality sector in Nagaland

DIMAPUR: REACHA has launched a skill development initiative in collaboration with IIFL Foundation and Assam Rifles to promote vocational training in the hospitality sector. The programme aims to create awareness about career opportunities, enhance employability, and enable local communities to access industry-relevant skills.

The initiative provides structured training through classroom sessions, practical exercises, role plays, demonstrations and interactive activities. Under its first batch, the Nagaland Centre enrolled 46 students, with 25 participating in the Homestay Host Programme and 21 in Front Office training.

Recruiting for Batch 2 has begun across local communities in Dimapur and nearby districts as the initiative expands.
