Four-storey building tilts dangerously in Hyderabad, residents evacuated

A four-storey unauthorised building tilted sharply on Friday at NTR Nagar in Gopanpally, Gachibowli, triggering panic among residents. Constructed on a 40-50 square yard plot, the leaning structure raised fears of potential collapse and damage to nearby properties. The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation cordoned off the area and began structural assessment, with demolition preparations underway.

The incident follows an unauthorised seven-storey apartment collapse in nearby Anjaiahnagar last month that killed two people. Officials are evacuating surrounding houses as a precaution while examining the building's foundation and structural elements. Residents have been advised to stay away pending inspection completion and safety measures.
