Hyderabad B. Tech graduate loses ₹5 lakh in FIFA World Cup visa scam

A B. Tech graduate from Hyderabad fell victim to a visa fraud scheme after being promised assistance to attend the FIFA World Cup. The scammers collected ₹5 lakh from the student under the pretence of obtaining required visa documents and travel arrangements.

The victim approached the fraudsters believing they were legitimate visa consultants. The accused disappeared after collecting the payment, leaving the graduate without any documents or refund.
