Hyderabad Traffic Police issues advisory for Ganesh immersion procession on September 25

Hyderabad Traffic Police have issued an advisory ahead of the Ganesh immersion procession scheduled for September 25. Except for vehicles carrying idols, traffic will be prohibited on the main procession route from 6 am on September 25 to 10 am on September 26. Restrictions will remain in effect on NTR Marg, PVNR Marg (Necklace Road), Tank Bund and Khairatabad Flyover through September 26.

Processions from multiple areas including Balapur, Secunderabad, Uppal, Dilsukhnagar, Tarnaka and others will converge at various points on the main route. Heavy commercial vehicles and trailers entering the city will be diverted to the Outer Ring Road, while local lorries and construction equipment will be barred from 6 am on September 25 to 11 pm on September 26. Motorists are advised to avoid key congested areas during the procession period.
