Rs 3,600 crore in business enquiries at 62nd IHGF Delhi Fair

The 62nd IHGF Delhi Fair, held from October 13 to 17, drew over 7,300 buyers from across the globe, generating Rs 3,600 crore in business enquiries. Participants represented 105 countries, including the US, UK, and Germany, reflecting robust international demand for Indian handicrafts.
Many international brands indicated a marked preference for sourcing directly from Indian manufacturers, signaling growing confidence in domestic production quality and capacity. This shift underscores India's emerging position as a preferred supplier in the global handicraft market.
India's handicraft exports have reached $3.75 billion for fiscal year 2025-26, demonstrating the sector's expanding economic contribution. The fair serves as a key platform for Indian artisans and manufacturers to connect with global buyers and expand market access.
