IIT Indore and IFCI Venture Sign MoU to Boost Startup Ecosystem

IIT Indore's DRISHTI CPS Foundation and IFCI Venture Capital Funds Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen Indore's startup ecosystem. The partnership will facilitate funding opportunities, investment linkages, technology commercialisation and market access for eligible startups and tech-driven ventures.
The collaboration combines DRISHTI's technology translation and incubation capabilities with IFCI Venture's venture capital expertise. Key focus areas include exploring linkages with Government of India-backed funding schemes such as the Venture Capital Fund for Scheduled Castes, Venture Capital Fund for Backward Classes, SAGE Venture Fund and Ambedkar Social Innovation and Incubation Mission.
Both organisations will work together on startup identification, funding readiness, investor connections, business pitching, capacity building and technology commercialisation. IIT Indore Director Suhas Joshi stated the collaboration will strengthen the transition from research and technology development to funding and commercialisation.
