IMD issues orange alert for Kozhikode, yellow alert across six Kerala districts

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for Kozhikode district in Kerala, indicating the likelihood of heavy to very heavy rainfall. Yellow alerts have been sounded across six other districts as a precautionary measure.

The alerts come as Kerala braces for significant precipitation in the coming days. Orange alerts typically suggest preparedness for potential disruptions, while yellow alerts indicate isolated heavy rainfall possibility.
