IMD sounds orange alert for three Kerala districts amid heavy rains

The India Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for three districts in Kerala as the state braces for heavy rainfall. The orange alert covers districts where significant weather disruption is expected.

Yellow alerts have been sounded for Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Ernakulam, Palakkad, Malappuram, and Wayanad, indicating moderate rainfall and weather-related concerns in these areas.

The alerts come as monsoon activity intensifies across Kerala, with the IMD monitoring weather patterns closely to keep residents informed of potential risks.
