IMD warns of very heavy rain across south Odisha, north Andhra Pradesh from Wednesday

The India Meteorological Department has issued warnings of very heavy rain for the southern Odisha and northern Andhra Pradesh coasts beginning Wednesday. An existing low-pressure area is expected to become well-marked and intensify into a deep depression over the next two days.

Extreme heavy rainfall has not been ruled out for the eastern coastal regions as the system strengthens. The IMD is closely monitoring the weather pattern and has advised residents in the affected areas to remain alert.
