Ronaldo Asked to Come Off at Half-Time, Saudi Report Says
Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly asked to be substituted at half-time during Al-Nassr's 3-2 comeback win over Al-Ettifaq, according to a Saudi journalist. Khalid Al-Shanif claimed the star was visibly upset following the request.
Al-Nassr coach Ange Postecoglou said Ronaldo was scheduled to play only 45 minutes as part of a managed fitness plan. Ronaldo then watched from the bench as Al-Nassr overcame a two-goal deficit to secure victory.
