India's economic resilience built through reforms, strategic autonomy key: Sitharaman

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said on Saturday that India's economic resilience has been built deliberately over the past decade through fiscal discipline, infrastructure development, banking sector reforms, and sustained policy changes.

Sitharaman emphasised that greater strategic autonomy and preparedness to face emerging global challenges remain critical for India's future economic trajectory. She highlighted last-mile delivery of government programmes as a key element in building this resilience.
