India must deepen GVC integration, cut logistics costs to boost exports: Deloitte
Deloitte India has called for deeper integration into global value chains and lower logistics costs as key steps to boost India's exports and move into higher-value manufacturing sectors.
The consulting firm also emphasised the need for stronger supply-chain resilience, tariff rationalisation, and better utilisation of free trade agreements. It highlighted that MSMEs require greater support to manage trade-finance risks, compliance challenges and currency exposure.
These measures, the firm said, are essential for India to enhance its competitive position in global trade and strengthen its manufacturing capabilities.
