India's soyabean output forecast at 9.6 million tonnes amid weak rains and reduced area

The United States Department of Agriculture has forecast India's soyabean output at 9.6 million tonnes, reflecting a decline attributed to weak rainfall and reduced planting area. The projection signals a significant challenge for domestic oilseed production.
According to USDA's Delhi Post, the lower bean output is expected to result in a 6% drop in crushing volumes. Soyameal production, a key byproduct used in animal feed, is also anticipated to decline proportionally.
