IndiGo to launch daily Gwalior-Mumbai flights from October 27

IndiGo is set to begin daily flight operations on the Gwalior-Mumbai route from October 27, increasing frequency from the current four days per week to seven days. The move responds to steady passenger demand on the route, with travellers expected to benefit especially during the festive season and winter holidays.
August data showed 5,775 passengers travelled the route, with airport officials projecting monthly figures could exceed 9,000 to 10,000 once daily service commences. The enhanced frequency is expected to benefit business travellers, tourists and those travelling for personal purposes.
Gwalior airport currently operates direct flights to only three cities—Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru—after earlier services to Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Pune, Jammu, Kolkata and Jaipur were discontinued. The daily Mumbai service marks a step toward restoring connectivity.
