Indore celebrates 486th birth anniversary of Maharana Pratap with grand Shaurya Yatra

Indore observed the 486th birth anniversary of Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap and the 377th birth anniversary of Maharaja Chhatrasal on Tuesday through a community celebration organised by Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Mahasabha Indore and Rajput organisations. The event began with a traditional milk-offering ceremony and garlanding of Maharana Pratap's statue at Mhow Naka, followed by floral tributes and prayers for national prosperity.
The centrepiece was the 41st consecutive Shaurya Yatra procession, which started from Bada Ganpati Square and concluded at Boliya Chhatri via Rajwada. Thousands participated in the march, which featured decorated bands, horse riders, and participants in traditional Rajput attire. Cultural tableaux, devotional performances, and a special water conservation tableau were part of the festivities, emphasising heritage preservation and community unity.
