Indore to Host Lata Mangeshkar Award Ceremony on September 28
Indore will host the National Lata Mangeshkar Award ceremony on September 27 and 28, with the main award presentation scheduled for September 28 at Lata Mangeshkar Auditorium in Paraspar Nagar. The award recipient's name is expected to be announced soon. The ceremony will include an exhibition of rare photographs chronicling the legendary singer's life.
On September 27, a Sugam Sangeet (light music) competition will showcase emerging talent, followed by performances by local musicians. The musical evening will feature Sachet and Parampara Tandon with their troupe. Divisional Commissioner Bhaskar Lakshakar reviewed preparations and directed officials to ensure adequate arrangements including parking, lighting, power backup, drinking water, sanitation, ambulance services and fire safety.
