Jabalpur earned recognition for pollution-control measures and green initiatives with community participation. Bhopal Ward 60 set an example in the first-ever micro-ward-level competition through cleanliness drives, increased green cover and citizen participation.
Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav will present the awards on September 7 at Indira Paryavaran Bhawan in New Delhi during the Clean Air Day ceremony.
