Indore Gets Doorstep Diesel Delivery Service in First-of-Its-Kind Initiative

Indore residents can now order diesel for doorstep delivery through a new service launched by Petro Filling Station in Palsikar area, a Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited dealer. The service, called 'Zipp Fuel', will be formally inaugurated on June 19 and aims to make fuel procurement more convenient for consumers.

Customers can place orders through an automated WhatsApp chatbot, selecting quantity, delivery address, time slot and payment method. The fuel is delivered in PESO-approved safety cans complying with government regulations. The service addresses difficulties faced by consumers needing diesel for generators, agricultural equipment and construction machinery, who previously struggled to obtain fuel due to strict rules requiring approved containers.

Each delivery vehicle carries certified measuring equipment to ensure accurate quantities. The service initially covers most of Indore with a delivery window of up to four hours.
