Indore RE-2 Road Project Advances as Commissioner Reviews Work and Relocation Plan

Indore Municipal Commissioner Kshitij Singhal on Sunday reviewed the ongoing RE-2 road project between Bhuritekri and Nayta Mundla. He inspected construction progress, site arrangements and assessed delays affecting the work.

Singhal visited settlements in Bicholi Kakad, Shiv Nagar and Shiv Darshan Nagar that obstruct the road alignment. He directed officials to complete family relocation following proper procedures while ensuring basic amenities for displaced residents.

The commissioner also inspected the Nilgiri residential complex at Sanawadia, developed under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, where displaced families will be relocated. He reviewed housing unit availability and civic amenities, instructing officials to finalize all arrangements before residents shift.
