IPO market remains bullish despite broader equity weakness, says Zerodha CEO
Indian equity markets face headwinds, but initial public offerings continue to outperform. Zerodha CEO Nithin Kamath highlighted data showing 67.2% of 125 IPOs listed between October 2025 and September 2026 have traded above their issue prices.
The median returns for these offerings stood at 24.7%, underscoring sustained investor appetite for new listings. Kamath characterised this as the "only bullish corner" in an otherwise weak market environment, suggesting IPOs remain an attractive segment for retail and institutional investors seeking growth opportunities.
