Japan's JCRA upgrades India's sovereign rating to A- after 35 years

Japan Credit Rating Agency has upgraded India's sovereign rating to A-, marking the first upgrade in over three decades. The upgrade reflects India's solid economic growth trajectory and effective economic policy implementation.
The agency cited improved soundness in the country's financial system and a decline in non-performing loans. India's economy is projected to sustain a growth rate exceeding six percent, even as global economic conditions remain challenging.
