Jarange-Patil plans fresh Mumbai march for 'final battle' on quota issue

Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange-Patil announced plans for another large-scale protest march to Mumbai, describing it as a "final and decisive" battle. He said hundreds of thousands of supporters would gather at Azad Maidan for a peaceful demonstration.

The state government has urged Jarange-Patil to call off the planned protest. The activist has previously led major agitations demanding reservation for Marathas in education and employment.
