Jharkhand CM cancels JSSC-CGL exams; students vow protest continues until CBI probe

The Jharkhand Chief Minister has announced the cancellation of JSSC-CGL (Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level) examinations following sustained student protests.

Students, however, have made clear that the cancellation alone does not end their agitation. They are demanding a Central Bureau of Investigation probe into the matter and have vowed to continue their hunger strike until a CBI inquiry is initiated.

"Our demand for a CBI investigation remains unfulfilled," the protesting students stated. "We will call off the agitation only after the CBI inquiry is conducted, not before."
