After the Jamshedpur accident, road safety arrangements in Jharkhand will be improved.

On Thursday morning at Sonari Marine Drive in Jamshedpur, a speeding car collided with a heavy truck, killing four young people, including Yuvika Singh, daughter of Jharkhand Rural Development Minister Deepika Pandey Singh. Questions are being raised about heavy vehicles illegally parked along the roadside.
JMM central spokesperson Kunal Shadangi demanded on social media that Transport Minister Deepak Birua find a lasting solution to heavy vehicles parked on the roadside. He called for regular monitoring of highways, cancellation of registration of vehicles parked illegally, and initiation of a stringent process of registering FIRs.
Transport Minister Deepak Birua expressed deep sorrow over the incident, saying he is distressed by it. The minister has assured improvements in road safety arrangements across Jharkhand.
