1.63 crore Jharkhand voters exempt from document submission in SIR process

The Jharkhand Chief Electoral Officer announced that 1.63 crore voters in the state will not be required to submit any documents during the Special Summary Revision (SIR) process. The SIR process will formally commence on June 30 with block-level officials conducting house-to-house visits to update the voter rolls.
