Judicial Remand Extended for Retired Judge and Son in Twisha Sharma Death Case

The District and Sessions Court in Bhopal extended the judicial remand of retired judge Giribala Singh and her son Samarth Singh till June 30 in connection with the death of actress-model Twisha Sharma, who was found dead at her matrimonial home on May 12. Both appeared before the court via video conferencing from the central jail.

During the hearing, Giribala sought extended time for lawyer meetings and requested access to newspapers covering the case. She also asked the court to restrain Twisha's family members from making media statements and demanded copies of medicine seizure documents. The court rejected her request for complete newspapers without case-related report removal, stating that reports will be excised as per jail manual.
