Justice RV Ghuge retires from Bombay High Court; Maratha quota case reassigned

Justice RV Ghuge has retired from the Bombay High Court. The Maratha quota case, which was being heard by his bench, will now be heard afresh by a new bench. Several pleas related to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have also been reassigned to different benches following the retirement.
The reassignment of cases is a routine procedural matter that occurs when judges retire from the bench. The Maratha quota case, a significant matter pending before the court, will now begin proceedings with the newly constituted bench.
