Golf can reach cricket's financial stature, says Kapil Dev

Kapil Dev, chief of the Professional Golf Tour of India, expressed optimism about golf's future in India, saying the sport could one day achieve the financial standing that cricket enjoys. Dev called for greater support from sponsors, media, and fans to elevate professional golf.

Dev also suggested that men and women golf professionals might eventually play together under a unified structure. The remarks come as the PGTI continues efforts to strengthen the professional golf ecosystem in the country.
