Karan Johar Says He Faced Fan Attacks Over Traitors India Feud Between Munawar and Abhishek

Karan Johar addressed the feud between contestants Munawar Faruqui and Abhishek Malhan during The Traitors India Season 2 reunion episode. The conflict began after Munawar was eliminated early from the show despite being innocent, following which he called other contestants "insecure losers."

Johar revealed that he faced backlash from both contestants' fan groups and was forced to go live on Instagram to clarify his role. He said fan groups—referring to "Panda Gang" and "MKJ"—attacked him, leading him to fear for his safety. Johar joked that he initially thought political parties were behind the harassment.

Following Karan's comments, Munawar apologized to the host and other contestants who had been targeted by their respective fan groups, and embraced Abhishek during the episode.
