Kareena Kapoor Khan's Daayra to clash with brother-in-law Kunal Kemmu's Vibe at box office

Kareena Kapoor Khan's upcoming film Daayra, directed by Meghna Gulzar and also starring Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, will release on September 18, 2026. The makers announced the release date through a behind-the-scenes video shared on social media.

On the same date, Kunal Kemmu's film Vibe, co-starring Preity Zinta, is also scheduled to release. Kemmu has written and directed the film. Notably, Kemmu is Kareena's brother-in-law through his marriage to Soha Ali Khan, sister of Kareena's husband Saif Ali Khan.

With three months remaining before the releases, it remains uncertain whether both films will maintain their September 18 dates or if one production may shift its release schedule.
