Government and private medical colleges to adopt health centres across Karnataka

The Karnataka government has announced a scheme where both government and private medical colleges will adopt primary health centres across the state. The initiative aims to enhance healthcare services in rural and underserved areas by leveraging the resources and expertise of medical institutions.
Under the adoption model, medical colleges will provide technical support, training, and infrastructure upgrades to the health centres they adopt. This collaborative approach is expected to improve maternal and child health outcomes, disease surveillance, and overall quality of care in primary healthcare settings.
