Kerala government examines ED report against Vijayan in CMRL case

The Enforcement Directorate has submitted a 25-page report to Kerala's State Police Chief Ravada A. Chandrasekhar under Section 66(2) of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, containing findings and evidence from its investigation into allegations against Leader of Opposition Pinarayi Vijayan in the CMRL case.

The state police chief will now examine the ED report to determine whether the material warrants registration of a First Information Report, referral to the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau, or any other legally permissible action.
