Kerala MLA warns online media against unauthorised filming, threatens legal action

Fathima Thahiliya, the first-time MLA from Perambra in Kerala, has issued a warning to online media outlets against what she calls "paparazzi-style" filming without authorisation. In a Facebook post, she said individuals have been entering public events claiming to be media representatives while lacking proper credentials or identification.
Thahiliya acknowledged that attending public functions is part of her responsibilities as an elected representative. However, she expressed concern over the growing practice of unauthorised filming and warned of potential legal action against those engaged in such activities.
