Khairatabad Bada Ganesh immersed in Hussain Sagar after crane delay

The iconic Khairatabad Bada Ganesh idol was immersed in Hussain Sagar lake in Hyderabad on Thursday, drawing thousands of devotees to witness the ceremonial event. The immersion, one of the city's major religious occasions, faced a three-hour delay owing to a technical snag with the crane used for the process.

The grand immersion proceeded after the technical issue was resolved, with devotees gathering to participate in the ritual. The Khairatabad Bada Ganesh is among the largest Ganesh idols installed during the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in the city.
