Khaitan & Co advises Gabriel India on ₹1,000 crore acquisition financing

Law firm Khaitan & Co has advised Gabriel India Limited on the private placement of unsecured, listed, non-convertible debentures worth up to ₹1,000 crore. The proceeds were primarily used to part-finance Gabriel India's acquisition of a 28.99% stake in HL Mando Anand India Private Limited.

Citibank, N.A. and Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) served as arrangers for the debt issue. The transaction demonstrates continued corporate activity in India's automotive and industrial sectors through structured financing mechanisms.

Khaitan & Co's team handling the matter included Partner Manisha Shroff, Senior Associates Chirag Gohil and Akshansh Sharma, and Associates Priyam Indurkhya and Shravasti Yadav.
