Kochi Police Begin Verification of Private Bus Staff for Criminal Records

Following complaints, the traffic wing of Kochi police has initiated a verification process of private bus staff to check for criminal antecedents. Details of approximately 100 bus employees have been forwarded to the district special branch for investigation.

The move aims to ensure passenger safety and maintain security standards across private bus operations in the city. The verification process will examine the criminal history of the referred employees.
