Nagaland MLA conducts free health camp, pledges continued public service

Dr. Tseilhoutuo (Ato) Rhutso, MLA of Kohima Town Assembly Constituency, organised a free medical health camp at New Reserve Panchayat Hall on Saturday. He stated that despite lacking an assigned government portfolio, he remained committed to serving the public and addressing community needs.
The health camp provided blood tests, ultrasound, ENT screening, dental check-ups, consultations and medicines. Home services were extended to bedridden and elderly patients. The initiative operates under the Chief Minister's Mobile Operation Theatre (CMMOT) programme, which has conducted health camps at 25 locations across Nagaland.
Ato said he had worked across tribal communities with support from Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and would continue honouring the electorate's trust. Vincent Belho of the Family Planning Association of India highlighted the importance of cervical cancer awareness and HPV vaccination.
