Kothari Industrial receives DGCA certification for agricultural spraying drone

Kothari Industrial has obtained Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) certification for its KOAIR-10L agricultural spraying drone, marking a regulatory milestone for the agri-tech sector.

The medium-class hexacopter is equipped with a 10-litre spray tank and flat-fan nozzles designed to ensure uniform distribution of pesticides, fertilisers and plant nutrients across farmland. The certification enables commercial deployment of the drone for precision agriculture applications.

The development reflects India's growing focus on integrating drone technology into agricultural practices to improve crop management efficiency and reduce manual labour requirements in farming operations.
