KRIBHCO to import 3-4 lakh tonnes of non-urea fertilisers for rabi season

KRIBHCO, a major fertiliser cooperative, is set to import between 3 and 4 lakh tonnes of non-urea fertilisers ahead of the rabi season. The imports will focus on phosphatic fertilisers such as Di-Ammonium Phosphate (DAP), which is the second most widely used fertiliser in India after urea.
The move aims to ensure adequate supply of critical nutrients for farmers during the upcoming rabi cultivation period.
