KTR Warns Telangana Govt Over Nagarjuna Sagar Water Release

BRS leader KTR has warned the Telangana government of launching a high-voltage padayatra over the Nagarjuna Sagar water dispute, setting a September 14 deadline for action.

KTR pointed out that despite the Nagarjuna Sagar reservoir holding approximately 180 TMCft of water, the state government has withheld releases into the Left Canal.

The warning signals intensifying political pressure from the opposition BRS over water allocation issues affecting farmers and irrigation in Telangana.
