Left parties to contest Tamil Nadu bypolls; CPI in Dharapuram, CPI(M) in Madurantakam

The Left parties will contest separately in the upcoming bypolls in Tamil Nadu. The CPI will field a candidate in Dharapuram, while the CPI(M) will contest in Madurantakam. Candidates for both constituencies are set to be announced on September 15.

According to party leaders, the bypolls are not routine elections but have been imposed on the people due to unforeseen circumstances.
