Madhya Pradesh CM Directs Officers to Complete DPC Before Year-End for Timely Employee Promotions

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has directed state officers to complete the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) process for the current year before year-end to ensure timely promotions for government employees. Speaking at a function honouring agriculture department staff, Yadav said officers had neglected holding DPCs and the government cannot delay promotions.
Yadav criticised the General Administration Department for creating bureaucratic hurdles, saying the system must be simplified to prevent unnecessary delays. He stressed that DPCs must be held annually and resolving old cases alone is insufficient. Yadav also announced plans to appoint 100,000 youths across various departments in coming years and pledged not to delay compassionate ground appointments.
