Madhya Pradesh CM Suspends Harda Official Over Unpaid Cook's Honorarium; Flags 27 Pending Police Complaints

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav suspended Tribal Welfare Department's Harda district coordinator Pramod Mathur for failing to resolve the pending honorarium of a woman cook, which had remained unpaid for over 10 months. The action was taken during a 'Samadhan Online' hearing under the 'Jan Vishvas' initiative in Harda on Friday.
Yadav expressed displeasure over pending cases on the CM Helpline and directed officials to impose penalties on negligent officers who fail to resolve complaints within stipulated timeframes under the Public Service Guarantee Act. He ordered timely salary disbursement to regular, contractual and outsourced employees. Upon learning that 27 police department complaints had been pending for more than 100 days, the CM instructed the superintendent of police to intervene.
During the hearing, Yadav reviewed cases pending over 100 days across agriculture, energy, women and child development, panchayat, revenue and home departments. He directly interacted with five complainants, including addressing issues related to agricultural pump subsidies and electricity billing disputes. The CM also sought suggestions from senior citizens and young entrepreneurs on developing Harda district.
