Dozen IPS Officials Set for Transfers in Madhya Pradesh This Month

Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh police department is preparing to transfer approximately a dozen IPS officials this month, including Superintendents of Police and Deputy Commissioners of Police. A range ADG will also be shifted, and newly promoted IPS officers will be given command of districts for the first time.
Four recently promoted IPS officials—Malay Jain, Amit Saxena, and Savyasanchi Saraf among others—are being considered for posting as SP or DCP. Three additional officers may be appointed as battalion commandants. Districts including Satna, Datia, Jabalpur, and Niwari are being considered for new SP appointments, though the final list remains subject to change.
Vacancies exist for DCPs in Indore and multiple positions in Bhopal, including traffic and intelligence postings. Eight officers currently at police headquarters are reportedly seeking district postings.
