Madhya Pradesh Police Recruitment: 7,500 Constable Posts Announced, No Agniveer Quota

The Employee Selection Board (ESB) in Madhya Pradesh has announced recruitment for 7,500 police constables. Of these, 700 posts are reserved for men in the Special Armed Forces, with no women's reservation in that force. The remaining 6,800 posts are for the district general duty category, including 2,380 for women, 2,720 in open category, 680 for ex-servicemen, and 1,020 for home guards.
Reserved category posts include 1,088 for SC, 1,360 for ST, 952 for OBC, and 680 for EWS. The notification confirms no special provisions for Agniveers, despite earlier reports of a planned 10 per cent quota. Non-domiciled candidates can apply in the open category, and third gender candidates may also apply with a district magistrate certificate.
Applications begin September 22, with the examination scheduled from November 19. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav had previously committed to conducting this recruitment before Simhastha 2028.
