Madhya Pradesh Schools Rush To Map Infrastructure Gaps Under Jan Vishwas Drive

The launch of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav's Jan Vishwas Abhiyan has prompted the Madhya Pradesh School Education Department to urgently assess infrastructure gaps across government high and higher secondary schools. The Directorate of Public Instruction has issued orders directing districts to compile details of deficiencies including additional classrooms, laboratory rooms, and pending maintenance work through a dedicated Google Drive.
District nodal officers conducting school visits under the Jan Vishwas Abhiyan have been tasked with identifying infrastructure requirements and compiling the information. District education officers must submit the consolidated data to the DPI by August 22, reflecting the department's push for quick action.
The exercise underscores persistent infrastructure challenges in government schools despite ongoing school development programmes. Officials have been instructed to prioritise identified requirements to ensure necessary works are completed within the prescribed timeline.
