Madhya Pradesh deploys 38 cyber commandos to secure NEET-UG exam

Madhya Pradesh Police Director General Kailash Makwana issued comprehensive security directives on Tuesday to ensure the safe conduct of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) scheduled for June 21 across the state.
The state will deploy 38 cyber commandos to monitor illegal activities through cyber channels and prevent paper leaks, rumour-mongering, and unfair means. Police superintendents have been directed to personally inspect examination centres, question paper storage sites, and banks by June 20 to verify security arrangements, including CCTV cameras and metal detectors.
Approximately 118,000 candidates will take the exam at 283 centres, with the highest concentration in Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, and Jabalpur. Enhanced vigilance has been mandated at hotels, lodges, and coaching institutes throughout the examination period.
