Madhya Pradesh to table UCC Bill in July Assembly Session

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that the state will table a Uniform Civil Code (UCC) Bill during the July assembly session. A six-member high-level committee constituted by the state government in April is currently preparing the draft legislation.

The committee has been touring various parts of the state to gather inputs for the bill. The move aims to bring a common legal framework for civil matters across the state.
