Madhya Pradesh to disburse ₹600 uniform allowance to 5.8 million students

The Madhya Pradesh cabinet has approved an allocation of ₹348.07 crore to provide uniform allowances to 5.8 million students for the 2026-27 academic session. Each student will receive ₹600 as financial assistance for purchasing school uniforms.

The decision forms part of the state's welfare initiatives aimed at supporting students from economically weaker sections and ensuring their access to basic educational necessities.
